Frequently asked questions.

1. How do I place an order?

Email is the fastest way to reach us — we're often busy creating arrangements in-store. Send your request to flowers@rainforesthawaii.com with details including pickup/delivery date, type of design (e.g., custom, sympathy, orchids), and any special requests. We'll reply promptly to confirm.

2. Do you deliver, and what are the fees?

Yes, we offer delivery across Honolulu and surrounding areas. Delivery fees typically range from $35 to $75, depending on the neighborhood. If your area isn’t listed, just email us to check availability.

3. What counts as advanced notice for custom or specialty orders?

For custom designs and specialty items like modern or tropical arrangements, we recommend placing your request at least one day in advance—especially during busy seasons.

4. Are flower selections always the same?

No — our materials follow what’s fresh and seasonal. Every design is unique because it’s created from whatever beauty has just arrived: this is part of what makes each Rainforest design a little work of art.

5. How should I care for orchids and cut flowers?

  • Orchids: Water sparingly with ~1 oz of water at the base every 2–3 days, and keep in bright, indirect light. They rebloom beautifully when cared for properly.

  • Cut Flowers: Refresh vase water frequently, rinse the container, trim stems if needed, and mist glossy greens to prolong freshness.

6. Can I walk in for live plants or flowers?

Absolutely — walk-ins are welcome! We often have arrangements, orchids, and cut flowers available in-store daily, but placing a pre-order ensures we’ll have exactly what you want ready when you arrive.

7. Do you sell leis during high-demand times, like graduation or Mother’s Day?

During high-demand periods like graduation, Mother’s Day, or May Day, lei availability may be limited. It’s best to check availability daily or pre-order in advance.
