For over forty years, Rainforest Hawai‘i has been a place where flowers tell a story. Founded by Michael Miyashiro, a visionary florist with a deep respect for nature and culture, Rainforest was built on the belief that floral design should be as thoughtful and sustainable as it is beautiful.

Michael’s approach was inspired by the rainforest itself—ever-changing, interconnected, and alive. Long before sustainability became a trend, he embraced eco-friendly practices: reusing and recycling materials, wrapping with ti leaves, avoiding harmful chemicals, and honoring Hawai‘i’s cultural traditions in every design. His work often blended artistry with intention, drawing on influences from astrology, numerology, and Feng Shui.

Today, we’re honored to carry his legacy forward. Every arrangement—whether for a wedding, a home, an office, or a grand event—reflects the same craftsmanship, care, and meaning that have defined Rainforest for decades.
